Nordic Skiing
Leavenworth abounds with trails and terrain for Nordic skiers of all types. Cross-country skiing is a very pleasant way to travel and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Skate skiing is a much more active version if you dare. We have listed a few popular areas but there are many more. Come and explore miles of new terrain.
In addition to the Ski Hill and all that it offers the LWSC has the Icicle River Course, the Golf Course track and the Waterfront Course for Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. The main office is a great resource for you to learn the current conditions of each course.

Five kilometers of lighted variable terrain track. Lights stay on until 10PM every night. The terrain is not recommended for novice skiers.

This popular trail is great because it has 8k of track for both skate and Nordic skiing and it is located right outside the front door to O`Grady`s Pantry so you can grab a meal or a drink when you`re done! You can share the gorgeous views with the whole family!
