The song of the American Dipper and the colors of the Western Tanager are both common sights and sounds here just off of Front Street in our local riverfront park. Waterfowl and high mountain species come together to make Leavenworth a very popular stop on the birding trail.
Spanning 9 acres this nature reserve has beautiful views of the river as well as many species of birds and other wildlife. They also offer nature-based education for all ages!
